Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

LocationFlow is a booking and business-management platform operated by BenJamin Morin, a sole proprietor doing business as Awesomeosity (“LocationFlow,” “we,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our marketing site, the provider console, and the booking sites we host for our customers (“Providers”).

LocationFlow serves two kinds of people: Providers (businesses that use LocationFlow to run bookings) and their Clients (the people who book with those businesses). When a Client books with a Provider, that Provider is the controller of the Client’s information; we process it on the Provider’s behalf to deliver the service.

Information we collect

  • Account & business information — name, email, phone, business name, address, service area, hours, and services you offer.
  • Booking information — appointments, addresses for on-location visits, notes, and messages between Providers and Clients.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processors (e.g. Stripe, Square). We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited details such as the last four digits and payment status.
  • Connected calendar data — if you connect a Google Calendar, see the dedicated section below.
  • Usage & device data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device type, and similar analytics used to operate and improve the service.

How we use information

  • To provide and operate the service — scheduling, drive-time routing, hosting Provider websites, messaging, reminders, and payments.
  • To send service communications, including booking confirmations and reminders by email and SMS (Clients can opt out of marketing messages).
  • To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
  • To improve features and understand aggregate usage.

Google Calendar data & Limited Use

If you connect a Google Calendar, you grant LocationFlow access to your calendar free/busy information and the ability to read and write calendar events. We use this data only to provide the calendar-sync feature you turned on:

  • reading your busy times so they are blocked from your online booking availability; and
  • creating and updating events for your LocationFlow appointments on the calendar you choose.

LocationFlow’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide or improve this feature (and only with your consent or as required by law), and we do not allow humans to read it except where you explicitly request support, for security/abuse handling, or where required by law. You can disconnect your calendar at any time from the provider console, which revokes our access and deletes the stored authorization token; synced busy data is removed promptly thereafter.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run the platform on our behalf — cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), payment processors (Stripe, Square), email/SMS delivery, and mapping/geocoding providers — under contracts limiting their use.
  • Providers and their Clients as needed to complete a booking (e.g. a Client’s booking details are shared with the Provider they booked).
  • Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Connected-calendar authorization tokens are deleted when you disconnect or close your account.

Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive secrets (including connected-calendar tokens), tenant isolation, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices & rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us.
  • Opt out of marketing messages; service messages (e.g. booking confirmations) may still be sent.
  • Disconnect a connected calendar at any time.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

Children

LocationFlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
